What Ever Teacher Should Know About Autism Spectrum Disorders
If you think you will not have to worry about autism in your classroom think again. One in 300 kids is on the Autism Spectrum. It is hard to say what a kid on the spectrum looks like because they can be mild or very severe. The majority of kids on the spectrum have a variety of social problems and they are usually visual learners but can be easily distracted by the simplest things. Many of these kids are in regular classrooms and it is very difficult to point out these kids verses kids who are not on the spectrum.
